Maintaining Calm in the Midst of Chaos

The last couple weeks here in the Nashville area have been very difficult for so many. Tornadoes on March 3, 2020 left a trail of devastation and loss of life. On the heels of that, COVID-19 became even more real as it began to impact the area with events and trips cancelled, schools closed, supplies and groceries seemingly in short supply, and people working from home.

In order to move past the feelings, I believe you have to go through them.  No avoiding, no self-medicating (although I admit I did have a bowl of ice-cream!), no pretending. Feelings give us a message, useful information about ourselves or the situations we are in.
